- On Thursday, the Berlin Philharmonic Wind Quintet with the Blair Woodwind Quintet will blow you away at the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University.
- Country vixen Carrie Underwood will be performing at the Grand Ole Opry House on Friday night
- The Band Perry will be Band Perrying on Saturday night at the Grand Ole Opry House
- Louisville post punkers Young Widows will be at Exit/In on Sunday night.
Arts
- Vanderbilt University Dept of Art Space is showcasing work by up and coming Tennessee artists Jean Kang and Jered Sprecher. The show runs through Feb 8
- The Frist is displaying an expressive collection of German Expressionism, on loan from the Detroit Institute of Art.
