Back In The Swing of Things

...no pun intended (see picture below). We are officially in our second week of classes and things are moving along at quite a pace, thanks to the Mod system, with one of my first exams already happening next week. I had an amazing summer in NYC and was able to learn a lot - much of what I did this summer I am able to apply to my M&A class and my accounting class. It's nice to be able to take those classes and have a better understanding of what I should be learning and what will be useful to take back to my job.

I am also a second year now and there are many new faces around Owen that as social events ramp up (Kegs, Tailgates, etc.) I'm sure I'll get to know better. One recent event passed that was a good way for 1st and 2nd years to mingle - the Owen Golf Tourney that happens at the end of the first week of classes. While it was my first time playing golf, my teammates were very understanding, taught me a few things about the game and we ended up having a great time.
