Some reasons I'm at Owen

  1. The staff at Owen (specially Sharon Scott)
    1. The people at Owen are wonderful. The staff, the faculty, the other  students are extremely friendly. The admissions staff of Owen helped me go through the process. Sharon Scott went beyond her duties to make sure that every question I had could be solved as soon as possible. If she did not had the answer to my question, she asked around and got me the response or directed me to the person that could help me.
  2. Mod system
    1. Unlike many other business schools, Owen has a Mod system in place. What this means is that instead of spending the first year (or half) of your MBA studying core courses, at Owen you only spend one semester. This allows me to take more courses on strategy. Thus, I get a deeper knowledge on the concentrations I want to pursue.
  3. Class size
    1. Owen has one of the smallest class sizes of all the MBA programs.  My class is around 180 students. For me this is great because I get to know every one in my class, and everyone knows me.  Even all the faculty members I have taken classes with know me by my name.  I do not need to remind them who I am.

But the main reason I am at Owen is because I love the school.
