Oh, The Things We Thought We Knew - Part II
Staring down the barrel of another set of exams, it's amazing how fast this MOD went by compared to MOD I. I have no doubt that this feeling is shared by our second year counterparts now that they have a mere 5 months left before they unleash their ferocity upon an unsuspecting business world. (If someone has the exact day count, feel free to put it on the comments section)
This MOD was definitely different with less quant work but MUCH more written analysis. In fact, I knew I had adjusted to the MOD when I looked at my 10-page Qualitative Marketing Research assignment and thought "Is that all?"
As I did last MOD at this time, and as Professor Mumin Kurtulus would say, "What have we really learned here this MOD?"
- Nashville weather is ADD. One day it will be sunny and 65, the next day you will be chipping ice off your laptop bag. Pack Accordingly.
- Luke Froeb's lessons will get inside your head, even if you don't want them to. Yesterday I was stuck in line at Kroger and I found myself calculating the Nash equilibrium of switching check-out lanes.
- The "Beer Game" is fun but doesn't actually have any beer...However, get someone else's cell phone to ring in Mumin's class and its a whole new ball-game.
- No matter how good at marketing you think you are, Steve Hoeffler will find a way to prove you wrong.
- Don't let on that you know how to use a video camera...trust me on this one.
And, of course, here are some select shots to remember this MOD by:
