When it comes to the Owen Community - It is a small world, after all

Not to let Sam have all of the fun on the blog this break, I thought I would post in with an observation: Owen is everywhere!
Currently, I am on vacation with the family on a small island in the US Virgin Islands called St. John. Not only did I bump into Ann Magruder at the Atlanta Airport on the way down, look who I found at a local watering hole: the admissions department's very own Lauren Rowe (and Hubby).
This just goes to prove that at Owen, we may be a small community but we're a global one.
Oh...and about the photo - thanks to the fact I was trying to go totally sans laptop this trip - I had to settle for this shot of the actual photo that I took with the Treo. As soon as I get back to reality - it will be replaced with the full resolution one.

I lived on St. John, and it rocks. It is my favorite place in the entire world. You suck. But I get to go there soon :)

Was there anywhere you DID NOT live, Sharran?
Anyway, yes, it was a great place and a great trip. It was so funny though, I saw them out of the corner of my eye at this beach bar/burger shack and I took a second look before left and realized there they were.
It was a very cool experience.
