Blog Tag the Samba

Its blog tag time, thanks Susan. Random people tag random people... one of them tags someone I know, and then I tag someone I know (or someone you don't know = random to you)... now that adds more random people to the tag-link. Awesome!

Here are five things my readers might not know about me:

1. April 28, 2007 is Race Day: Unpopular surveys say that of the runners who run their first marathon less than 10% of them run a second one. And of those who run a second marathon, over 90% run more than two. After finishing the Twin Cities Marathon in 2001 and getting yelled at by my grandma for being proud of beating up my body, I am going to do it again. Grandma is mighty pissed and I even got a lecture, but April 28th is race day for the 2007 Country Music Marathon.

2. Celebrity Interactions: The Gods of "Cool Jobs" smiled on me for a few years and gave me the opportunity to use my tennis skills to travel the world, work at some of the finest hotels and resorts and hobnob with the who's who of our time. I gave tennis lessons to Bill Gates, Michael J. Fox, Alan Alda, Sir Richard Branson and even the Sultan of Brunei (he had a mean backhand!)

3. Caribbean Magic: You have not snorkeled unless you have snorkeled at Waterlemon Cay in St. John, US Virgin Islands. I have snorkeled in a few different parts of the world (snorkeling in Hawaii is horrible, Molokini is mediocre) and have not found anything that compares to Waterlemon Cay.

4. I am color blind: Please don't ask me what color your shirt is, because that's not how you determine whether someone is color blind. I never realized why I sucked at my physics/electronics class in high school and college... the colors were never what I thought they were, and so I came up with all kinds of strange values for resistors and capacitors.

5. I am allergic to jolly ranchers: No kidding.
