Haven't done that in a while...
That's right, I did something yesterday that I haven't done in a long time. Read a book for pleasure. Between trying to keep up on the market and my schoolwork, personal reading has been put on the back burner. About a month and a half ago I bought this book:

It's about a federal prosecutor in NYC who was kidnapped the night before his birthday and how he survives and what occurs after. I started the book around 10:00 and was done with it by 4:30. It was one of those books that may not be a literary masterpiece, but keeps you entertained throughout.
I also got to watch some college basketball yesterday. Duke looked awful, Villanova made a game out of one they shouldn't have been in, and Pitt played pretty well last night. I'm sticking with my final four picks right now, but Memphis isn't getting enough love because of their conference.
-Side Note: On ESPN2's Cold Pizza, Patrick McEnroe and Skip Bayless referred to Stanford as the Vanderbilt of the west. That made me smile.
Some of my loyal readers may be wondering why on Spring Break I was sitting around reading a book and watching college basketball. Well, I'm currently hanging out at my parent's house in NJ. I had some things to take care of in NYC Wednesday, and since there's no car for me to use, and its in the teens, I'm doing a whole lot of nothing. I forgot how much fun it could be to do nothing.
Finally, it looks like my internship search will be wrapping up soon. As soon as I know where I'm going, I'll try and provide a little more insight into the process of getting a non-corporate finance job. Its definitely been an enlightening road and I've learned a lot about business and myself. I promise I won't be so vague once I accept a position.
